    Plextor 708A Read Speed SLOW

    I have the PLEXTOR 708A (ultra dma enabled) I am only getting about 6x read speed when using DVD Decrypter and ripping a DVD to my harddrive. It should be upwards of 12x maybe reality of 8-10x but definatley more then 6x. Any suggestions? I used the hold the eject button trick to boost it up...
