ok i have a sony dru-500a! and it has a problem trying to burn to some DVD-R disks wether i use nero or record now it jsut wont burn on them (callibration erroer or some crap!!) but then i give theses rejects to my mate who has a A05 and the discs work just fine!!! its really funny! some brands...

why cant i use my sony dru-500a with nero???? also can you also tell my where i can get the guides to burn back up dvds using record now(as i only know how to use nero!! thx

this model(latest one)DV355 seems not to play DVD-R where as the old (fatter ..non slim line model) does they are both DV355 is there some way to mod your dvd to play dvd-r and why would the older model of the dv355 series play DVD-R and not the new one?
