best way to bun audio cd?

well i currently use Nero to copy a audio cd using just the burner as the reader and writer since my dvd is too slow to do on the fly burn. but my question how can i prevent cd's that r being burn from having pops and cracks is it because the cd's r protected? what program or software can fix this problem or stop the cd from making the backup have pops etc

Dont run any other programs when you read the cd.

If your recorder does not have exaclink or burnproof try not to run anything else when burning.

If that doesnt work try reducing your read speed as I find copies especially need to be read slower.

I close everything program except nero

aight thankx ill give a try on slow reading how can i find out about exaclink or burnproof i have a HP 9500 series burner

is that bad or good if my burner doesnt suppot buffer underrun?

ok i check and my burner does have DMA enabled and about the aspi thing im using the same cable connected from my dvd rom to my cd burner.

and how can i check the setting is DAO under nero?

computer specs:

Buffer u.-Its not bad if you dont have it--just be carefull when burning(not many tasks running in same time.......):)

aight i got more questions

im gonna give Feurio a try as well as ripping the cd to hdd then to cdr but i got this one question if i want to use the cd that i burn that has the pops and cracks to burn with feurio or to ripped it to the hdd will the pops and cracks still be there ?

im also gonna give clone cd a try with that clone xxl cuz it lets u know if the original cd is protected

aight i trat aspichk program and heres what came out

ASPI is not properly installed. One or more compionents have been replacec with older versions of the software



now i havent try the ASPI4all because it says only for win95 and nt and im using XP so what can i do about this problems?

Just to answer your question about pops and crackles.
If you copy a cd with pops and crackles you will get another cd with pops and crackles.
You should really just bin it and try again.
Dont worry everybody needs a few coasters around the place!

ok yeah i got that roadworker told me how to do it and i did last night and i just recheck and yeah i got that now i got to borrow the same cd from my friend tomorrow and reburn it and i will let yall know what happend thanks for all yalls help this FORUM rules . Because you get lots of help and fast thanks guys

well i burn Trance Nation 2 and i did it with EAC then convert to mp3 with Lame Encoder and burn with Nero but when the song(s) get kind of quiet i start to hear loud pops and crackles does any one know why is still doing this? and Nero is burning under DAO 96

First;your aspi is 460...2You use eac..(If the eac is configured good-offsset--clicks are NOT possiblle..and of course if you know what are you doing????3 Do this....put cd(same one)in your cd playerand listen...If cd have scratches..If its got,its a different story...Maybe the cd is defective????or it was lp-cd thing....Or your hardware is defective???If its all good(try again with feurio and eac).......Post your findings--Im very interested----dead serius!!!!!!!!
