Bit torrent

In need of a bit torent client which doesent takes so much cpu-all which tried use enormus cpu-just like shareaza.Ant it would be nice to handle all torrents with one gui-not gui per torrent as most do.
Shareaza is ok,but it takes so much cpu its crazy to keep it

Try this one: http://www.bitcomet.com/
I also had that cpu problem with a client called ABC, but this one is much, much better (However, judging by the info in the forum, the downloads can be slow sometimes. But it seems to work quite well for me).

Thanks,will try it.
Installed and its not bad-can handle multiple torrents in same gui, still it does take a cpu too-but less then shareaza :)
I guess torrent is a network which takes more cpu then kazaa or donkey
For example i run one instance of dc++ with 3 upload slots and downloading around 40 complete albums-and still takes a 10m-cpu,opposite this i download 10 torrents at once and it takes 30m;it just look that torrent network is not optimized properly-me think
I guess its a still new protocol so it will get better with time :)

I also use Azureus, which is a superb client, but say on an old PII/III with 64-128M of RAM I would surely use XBT- I never saw this little gem using more than 8 MB of RAM (with some 6 torrents running concurrently), while normally it consumes less than 5 MB.

Looked bor bittornado, and one comment at fileforum was "still uses lots of memory".

I could be wrong, but I'd expect ANY of them in Java to be worse than the C++ or other language ones for CPU and memory, since Java is not fully compiled.

In general java uses somewhat more resources, but the difference is not great.
What matters most is GOOD coding, a poorly coded application will be both slow and a RAM/CPU hog.

java based clients usually help in cases of firewalls blocking connections but as stated they can also be a resource hog :(

Hi Guy's..

As Previously Mentioned About BITTORNADO, Yes It Is Heavy On Memory..
As For Bitcomet Never Tested It.. And The XBT Client One Looks Really Complicated Or
Too Much To Configure..

Stable Version Of Bit Tornado I Found Is 0.3.8 Yes It Does Suck Memory, But Its Easy
And Really Simple..

All I Can Say Is I'm Hoping A Stable New Low Mem / CPU On Resource's...
