DVDShrink Beta 5

DVDShrink Beta 4

DVD Shrink 3.0 Beta 4 is now available!

http://www.dvdshrink.org/

The changes are:

Version 3.0 Beta 4 - 14 Aug 2003

Fixed FF/FR bug which affected video set to "Automatic" mode but not actually compressed. This bug may also have caused player freeze or all sorts of other problems, depending on the player.

Fixed automatic shutdown mode: changed windows EWX_SHUTDOWN command to EWX_POWEROFF.

I'm having trouble keeping up. :D I download, install and before I can test run it, theses another version ! Not that we want the author to slow down but surely he has to sleep at some stage?

I know what you mean CM :D

I never even got to use Beta 1, news is that there will not be another release until at least the beginning of September now as dvdshrink is working on other projects. (I wonder what that could be? )

Gives us some breather space anyways. lol

LOL - and I thought dvdshrink was taking a break from this project for a few weeks?!? :D

Here is the changelog:-

Version 3.0 Beta 5 - 16 Aug 2003

Fixed VTS address offsets in TT_SRPT for re-authored disks with more than one title. This will have caused problems with some burning software and may have prevented playback of the second title, depending on player.

All these Betas just gives Laz an excuse to update :D
LOL - Nope, change of plans bud for a good reason.

Hopefully 3.0 final should be with us early September and there may well be some changes with the re-author screen mode that would make my tutorial way off if I based it on 3.0 Beta 5. I've applied to be an official Beta tester over at digital-digest so if that comes off it should help with being able to prepare the tutorials in advance a bit better for the future. :)

Laz, I hope this isn't the only reason why you applied for beta-testing. :D

Thanks for the welcome, woody. :)

Laz has had the beta-tester status for a while (although it won't show above his avatar). ;)
I guess he is not having any issue with v3.0 beta 5, and waiting like many of us for the next version to be released. :D
