Release date announced for burnatonce 0.95!

After four long months of development burnatonce 0.95 is finally on it's way. The release date has been set for Friday, January 24th and due to the huge amount of testing that has gone into this release burnatonce will no longer be in beta.

To see an overview of the main features added please see the "News on burnatonce 0.95" thread in the burnatonce general forum.

Great news,m8!!!
It's a product to be proud of.......even in it's béta stage,it had much less bugs than some "finals" of other, expensive, burning software.....;):D

J many thanks bro final thats what I like to see a product coming on the market after a long testing period and only released when the aurthor is happy :D ;)

Had a look, not sure what the situation is for Win9x/ME.

I know one version would run, but some things were problematic - that's why I tend to look more at the other ones ... Xduplicator and Demosten (and what was that other one, easyiso?)

It's not that I don't like BurnatOnce, but I'm not an any hurry to update from Win98 - until it comes about that I need or can justify a new PC.

burnatonce 0.95 will support windows 9x using a different method to display progress while reading cds. All other functions are now compatible. :)

[EDIT] Device locking not available on win9x systems - but then, this feature isn't part of other programs you mentioned so it's no loss...

0.95 has been extensively tested under win98 (by me) and is working superbly. Wait till Friday and you'll probably never bother with XDuplicator again. (You'll probably find that you only rarely use whatever commercial mastering program you have again too).

Now that is a very bold claim to make m8. :D

Even got me interested now! :D

alright jamieo, i've got to try this stuff now. all my friends recommend it and they know what they're talking about. (it seems they all beta test it :D )

Will be watching then....

ISO building (visually) is one thing which has improved in a lot of this style of application - though nobody has yet hit the the same Source/Compilation structure as most of the mainstream ones do.

Having started with ECDC 4 (Source folders/files above, compilation below) - I set Nero to the same orientation - to me, that's how it should look. and the way I used to set multi-pane in the win3.1 file manager as well.

@ jamieo

09:11 and not ready for download yet I presume after looking at the download section, looking forward to trying this out later. Can't wait! :D

Laz could B due to different time zone's :D ;)
J could well B behind (Hours) so he could well be in bed  Zzzzzzzzzz!

Glad to see you're excited fellas! Due to a (very) late night I have only just got up. Also, I hope to package burnatonce with a helpfile so I want to try and finish that off first.

Most likely time for release is early evening (about 6pm maybe) GMT... :)

PS. I think the forum clock is about 57minutes (roughly :)) slow so it'll be sooner than you think! :D
